A Defensive Leader

Cincy has done what seemed to be the impossible and hired a Defensive Coordinator. Lou Anarumo has joined the squad coming from the New York Football Giants Where he served as the Defensive Backs coach. Lou was with the Giants for only a year after working on the Miami Dolphins staff from 2012-2017.

Coach Taylor and Anarumo worked on the same staff in Miami so we have familiarity with this hire which will hopefully result in a harmonious Head Coach Defensive Coordinator relationship. Anarumo does have a little DC experiance having served as interim for 12 games in the 2015 Miami season.

52 year old Anarumo has 30 years coaching experience and brings a wealth of Defensive knowledge to the table. With the current state of our defesne we can use all the help we can get. Hopefully he can whip Dre Kirk into shape....or cut him.
