The Bengals have a supposed top candidate for the Defensive Coordinator position. Todd Grantham from Florida is said to be interviewing for the gig. This comes off of the team interviewing Pleasant, the Cornerbacks Coach from the Rams. Unlike Pleasant Grantham has no connection to Head Coach Zac Taylor or anyone on the Cincy staff for that matter.
Todd comes with 29 years of coaching experience at the professional and collegiate levels. His past jobs have included Defensive Line Coach for the Dallas Cowboys, Defensive Coach for the Cleveland Browns, and a member of four different college coaching staffs. At 52 Grantham has the experience and wasta to come in and coach this Bengals defense. We shall see if he gets the job.
