So it looks like the boys will be getting Illinois Joey Boese to chisel them into Adonis's. When you've got players who can throw up weight like 302lb Geno Atkins you are going to need a guy that can point them in the right direction. The team is filled with twisted steel and sex appeal but the organization thinks Joey can come in an enhance the already stellar weight program.
Taylor is planning on hiring Boese as soon as possible it is being reported. They have a history at Texas A&M together just like Coach Turner so it is a natural choice. Joey played defensive back for the Wisconsin Badgers and then did some time in the Canadian Football League (CFL) prior to making the transition to coaching.
Either way it will be nice to have someone well prepared to beef the boys up for the 2019 season. Lets get Andy repping 315 by the season opener joey. Make it happen.
