60 year old former Head Coach of the Cincinnati Bengals Marvin Lewis will make his broadcasting debut this Sunday on NFL network. Marv will be announcing an Alliance of American Football League game. Lewis who held the mantle of our team for 16 seasons will be joined in the booth by Pro Bowl running back Maurice Jones-Drew for the 8:00 pm matchup between Arizona Hotshots, whos name pays homage to the outstanding men and women in the fire service, and the Salt Lake City Stallions.This is wild.... We go from mild mannered Lewis on our sidelines to watching him announce minor league football. 2019 is already set to deliver.
Now I am ecstatic that we get to possibly skip the post Super Bowl hangover and jump right into more football but also cautiously optimistic. It could be a total shit show. Like Tom Brady kissing Robert Kraft on the mouth bad, but who cares. Lewis in the booth and the pigskin flying. No matter what your opinion was on good ole Marv it will be quite the sight to see him back in action and around football again.... "On to the AAF"
