It would appear we have been taken for a fool, bamboozled and dare I say hoodwinked by Mr. Rappaport. The Buffalo Bills are not trading for Antonio Brown.... The organization released a statement this morning, with general manager Brandon Beane noting that "we have moved on and our focus is on free agency." Shit.... We were very excited about this one here at 4TH & CINCY. To make the matter worse Brown was "right" about his fake news claim making the rest of us who got excited look silly.
Reports late Friday night (Ian Rappaport shotgun tweeting) lead us to believe that the Bills and Steelers were closing in on a deal that would send #84 to Buffalo, but it was not long before conflicting news reared its ugly head. Brown even took to Instagram to term a report that a deal was imminent "fake news." Within about an hour of the initial report that Brown was headed to Buffalo, it was being termed "unlikely" to happen by not only sports media outlets but the Bills organization itself.
We still get some AB scumbag points here though because according to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora Brown simply was not willing to report to the Bills no matter what. Screw this guy and these teams for letting him control this situation... I hope nobody takes him at this point. It was thought due to his current contract situation he did not control his destiny but apparently the spineless league is allowing it.We will get the news out as soon as we hear where this D-Bag actually goes...Until then..
