The Bengals have augmented their line with a big defensive tackle from Arizona State And his name is Renell Wren.
Our defensive line needs Some backup. This is why we thought the Bengals might have considered looking at grabbing someone as early as the first round. Wren is a big ass tackle who has already been dubbed "Mt. Wren”, by the staff. He could fit right into the interior rotation with the boys Glasgow, Ringo Billings. Won’t even out Geno in the same sentence as them considering he is a D-Lone God.
It all starts in the trenches. We say that over and over here at 4TH & CINCY. Offensive line and defensive line are the most important positions on the field. Cincy bolstwr both of these is an excellent thing. Renell is great for this.
He was a total stud at the Senior Bowl following a productive senior season in which he recorded 43 tackles, 4.5 for loss, one sack and two pass defenses while earning honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors. At 6’5” and 320lbs we thing Wren will do just fine here in Cincy!
