It would appear that now former Cincinnati great Vontaze Burfict is signing a deal with the Oakland Raiders. He joins the likes of former Pittsburg Steeler Antonio Brown out in California as the franchise begins to rebuild.
This is great news for Vontaze as he was recently released from the Cincinnati squad by the coaching staff in what appears to be an effort to bring in some young talent at the linebacker position.... we hope...
#55 did some of his best work while here in Cincy since the 2012 season. He also did some of his worst...but that is all hear nor there now that he has found a new home. The Raiders are signing him but are no stranger to being burned. They are therefore giving the animal a one year deal allowing them to part ways of it does not work out.
We could not be happier for Taze. Hopefully this can provide a fresh start. Go forth and do great things, we will be following your career here at 4TH & CINCY..
