Pile of Shit

In our initial report of this we took the angle that we were sad. We were upset that this fun league was to be no more. The league that gave us a break from Goddel and his NFL shock troopers enforcing his will. Recent news has flipped our feelings of depression to that of confusion and now just plain old disgust.

Fuck the AAF and it’s board. Fuck them into the dirt and then piss on what’s left of them. Players are coming out of the woodwork describing situations that do not sound as if they can be real.

Majority owner Thomas Dundon and both founders Charlie Ebersol and Bill Polian are all still loaded and will both continue careers in professional sports. This load of shit however, should haunt them for the rest of their careers and lives. They bath in their dirty greenbacks while the men of the gridiron who were putting it all out on the line have been left out in the rain with nothing but a fake ass letter from a generic AAF email address. The owners and founders testicles are shriveled so far up their bodies they couldn’t even apologize to the warriors that made them money.

Take Gionni Paul for instance. During a Salt Lake City Stallions vs San Diego Fleet game Gionni was sandwiched between two players attempting to make a tackle and broke his arm. Now this happens in football, It’s a tough sport. But when your league decides to shut down shortly after your injury and they put you on the streets with no medical coverage, no paycheck, and no place to live... total bullshit.

Paul wasn’t the only one effected by the circus of a league. Memphis Express fullback Anthony Manzo-Lewis was kicked out the hotel room he was staying in land forced to drive 17 hours home to New Jersey or pay for his own flight. Kind of hard to do when you don’t have a paycheck. Memphis players reportedly returned to their hotel to find their belongings waiting for them in piles in the lobby and some charges for the room on their bank accounts.

Memphis Express lineman Logan Tulley-Tillman was bent over even harder. Memphis put him up in a hotel room And told him he was not on the hook. However, when the Express was told to “cease all football operations” They made his bank account their bitch and slapped nearly $2000 on it.

“We were told housing was free, he said. “I got charged $1,781 when I was only there less than three weeks and a whole month only costs $700.” He has sense attempted to reach out to the team to rectify these erroneous charges but they are giving him the cold shoulder. They won’t even return his calls.

Another player Adrien Robinson formerly of Temple and the Pittsburg Steelers was locked out of his hotel room with no answers. The man has a $2500 charge on his card. He also called the team (Memphis) president and was stonewalled. He will now have to despute the charge within bank. Did I mention that he has no income now?

Oh, but they were nice enough to put this out...

Wow... thanks a ton AAF you deceitful piece of garbage. You give these guys who you have absolutely lied to and burned permission to move on and find new jobs. Screw this joke of a “league“ and everyone who ran it. We only hope the players and employees who were kicked in the nuts by this can recover and find new homes...
