Cincinnati is making moves. Cornerback B.W. Webb, who had the best of his five NFL seasons last year under our newbie Lou Anarumo. Cincinnati grabbed ahold of him long enough to sign a three-year deal Thursday that could make him the Bengals’ No. 1 slot cornerback.
We need this big time. Our defense can use all the bolstering it can get. Especially when other teams in our division are signing wideouts like OBJ (Brownies). We have got to replace Dre “I can’t play football” Kirkpatrick.
If we can draft defense like a certain LSU linebacker....Devin White....than we can go nuts. It would seem that this is the direction we are going in as we re-sign players on our offense like Hart and Uzomah. We shall see!
