The Bengals have re-signed offensive guard Alex Redmond to a one-year deal. It was announced today that he will remain on the squad.
The big guy was a third-year player in 2019 and originally an undrafted free agent in our 2016 season. Redmond played in and started 15 games at right guard last season for Cincy. He was made a crucial impact on Mean Joe Mixon and his incredible 1,168 rushing yard season. Damn he is good.

With all of that nice stuff we just said it is also fair to say that Alex was also one of the worst starting offensive lineman in the league in the 2018/19 season. He is now expected to step up and handle a role the secondary or backup right guard spot on our line this year which will be a big undertaking.
Redmond signed the exclusive rights tender the Bengals extended to him on March 8, so it was only a matter of time until he was officially back to Cincinnati.
