The number 15 is making waves in two different leagues these days. The best part about it is the last name linked to both is none other than Ross. John Ross is the speedy receiver we know and love who crushes combine 40 records and torches DBs on Sundays. His AAF Arizona Hotshot doppelganger Rashad Ross is making headlines in a new league and for good reason.
Rashad Ross is a former Washington Redskins receiver turned AAF pro. Last weekend for the Hotshots he caught 5 touchdown passes and racked up 103 total yards in their game against the Salt Lake City Stallions. Rashad put on a clinic essentially providing the NFL with an entire game of highlight reel should they wish to ponder the notion of brining him onto their 53 man rosters. Ross has blazing speed and a catch radius the size of a parking garage during the 38-22 win of the Stallions.
Ross has spent time on many an NFL roster. Most recently as a kick returner for Washington. He has also spent time whether he made the roster or not with the Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans and the Kansas City Chiefs. He is no stranger to hard work while attempting to make these rosters. Ross is definitely a player to watch as the Arizona Hotshots continue their season in the Alliance this year. Lets hope our 15 can bring it this year for the Cinccinnati Bengals.
